Why does this thing have 24 phase power regulation? They should have done that on the X58 and 790FX boards...
This thing has too many features for i5. EDIT:

I bet it will do 5ghz on air, plenty of power for ln2 and liquid helium, 8ghz on a quad anyone?

Its just protective plastic on the blue covers.
Those phases look a bit overkill, other than that it looks like a pretty innovative board.
