I think ATI fixed the micro-stuttering problem in there new cards. I wouldn't mind it anyway. My 9800GTX's give me sometimes in games, huge tears in the frame. Lots of Artifacts in Crysis because of the poor TDP on the G92 core.

The tears in frames aren't a problem of the 9800GTX+'s by the way. Try enabling or disabling Vsync, that usually fixes it. As for the artifacts, well there's no reason to have them artifact due to heat. They never get that hot naturally (They're usually pretty cold). The fix for that is to improve your case temps/airflow. It looks like any card would overheat if your current ones do.
