Default [EIC]inno3D's Giant mini ITX board

Man... This little monster is killer. inno3D has introduced and mini ITX That is dual core Atom compatable with DDR2 800 and on top of that has a built in NVidia 9400 right on the board. The PSU for this little giant is rated at 95 watts. Wow.. Imagine a computer that can hang with the ATX Dawgs and only consuming 95 watts. This little monster is Great.

Just take a look at that back plate. There is an e-Sata port a built in wireless N, a HDMI out and every thing else a man or woman needs to build a super small super powerful HTPC. The sky is the limit on this board.

Quote:
NVIDIAs ION chipset brings with it a GeForce 9400m IGP, with a GPU clocked at 450MHz and 16 stream processors clocked a 1,100MHz. The board provides two DDR2 DIMM slots, supporting up to 8GB of 667MHz/800MHz RAM, and is bundled with a 90W external power supply. The board is yet to be priced.

I was thinking that exactly when I posted it. I know it's not for your extreme overclockers but if you want to do basic stuff and watch HD movies and do it all wireless this is the ticket.

That it would. Gets a 4.7 on the Vista score, I believe.

This mobo has onboard DC-DC converter rated up to 95w. The CPU+chipset+Wifi+RAM use less than 40w.

I just wished there was at least one standard expansion slot.

At 40w they should just start building these into TVs. In fact, I think I saw in the news thread months ago, a TV with PCs built right into them.

If it had a PCI slot for a sound card, I'd buy it right now for an HTPC.
