I definitely saw a big difference going from a 16mb drive to a 32mb drive. Of course I'm sure someone will criticize me with nonsense, but my experience is something that no one can recreate, so bleh. Also the difference going from SATA150 to SATA3GB/s was a nice leap.

Also SATA150 to SATAII only matters if you can use that bandwidth, if your hdd is fast enough to saturate SATA150 then you'll notice a difference. Not sure how that is relevant to the implications of cache size........
