They even make fake Ferrari cars in China...but know this: these iClones are the kings of value. Here in Italy they sell dual-sim iPhones....and they work very well. Even if that iClone in the picture is slower performing you STILL get a lot of phone for what you're paying, unlike the original Apple iPhone. So yeah, Apple iPhone is actually iLose.

oh dont get me wrong. if someone makes a cheap knock off and sells it as a cheap knock off or copy thats fine, as long as it works.

i was more referring to the sleezey scam artists who sell their cheap crap as the real deal and fool innocent people. it sucks coz it happens so much, it gets me paranoid about buying certain things, the last thing i want to happen is to fall prey to it.

but if it does exactly the same thing as the real deal, even a bit slower, looks the same, and almost is the same, and they call it something else, iCopy or whatever lol...thats fine. good on them.

So much gets made in China and Asian countries that I bet it is easy enough to get the designs copied and whatnot so that they can make copies. At least a lot easier than here in the U.S. Couple that with the laws they have and bam... you've got phony!

well yeah. this is $350 CAD, and it includes customs fees that I had to pay. I paid $220 for the phone itself and when it hit the border, Canadian Border Agency workers just had to have a look at what it was, put a nice little tariff on it, and now i sit beside a nice little 2G $350 iPhone, and I don't regret it at all.

I'm on a killer plan, $0.05 per text message, $0.01 evenings and weekends and $0.20 per minute. I don't make too many phone calls, my old ipod had a horrible battery life and I complained to Rogers to the point where they gave me incentives like $0.01 e&w just to ****.

I thought it was a scam because I got my iPhone for $220 when everywhere else on ebay, it sold for $330+ -so in total, the $350 for an iphone (for me) was a good deal.

nice man. yeah sometimes you just get lucky. i got my 32gb ipod touch 2gen for $425 off ebay, they retail for $550 here. that $425 included shipping, so yeah you could say i should be careful and make sure mine was real, but i always hound the seller with questions first.

sometimes i've even made minor "promises" that i can and will pursue it further if it does turn out to be fake as i have the means of proving whether or not it is. when you dont get a reply thats a dead giveaway
