ONFI uses mini-PCIe NAND Flash memory SSD. So... are they the same thing?

i thought ONFI was the specific slot itself... not a mini PCIe.

Why on Earth would they make another P45 board, they already made it pretty much perfect, and socket 775 is on it's death bed.

Also, UD3P is awesome, but it can still be perfected, and UD5 is here to do that. ![]()

I don't understand why there are so many people here that don't like/hate the color coordination that gigabyte uses. As a sworn gigabyte user, I love the colors and they are actually helpful in more than one way. To a beginner user, it helps them with the identification of different components, and as a guide for which slots to use in certain configurations. Gigabyte has put a lot of thought into the colors, and they are not just "legos farted out by a Transformer". The colors as a guide aside, you also have to take into account the psychological effect that colors have. Some colors invoke hunger, other invoke comfort, love, or anger. Seeing as Gigabyte uses a lot of blue, red, and yellow, it shows that they are choosing colors that are the most soothing. Yellow and orange tend to invoke feelings of comfort and hunger, and red (in small doses) tends to invoke love. Blue is used as a calming, cool effect. Break down the colors into psychological triggers and you'll see that they are actually the best (in my opinion) at choosing colors for their motherboards, and seeing as the motherboard is the most important piece of hardware in the computer, it's only fitting to see it laid out with colors that are associated with calm, cool, loving hunger. A hunger for performance. That's just my $.02

Why are the SATA ports not on the side of the board for the UD3P and UD5?
Meh.
