Crap coming from a previous owner of the old kit from tt being my first wc this is my experience

first off q9550 3.67 ghz e0 stepping/lapped was idle in 48 c just imagine the load temps

well over 60 etc

i then got a custom kit of course temps dropped down to the 20s and never ever seen a 50 c hit on load with the new custom loop

says enough?

need i mention the barbs that came with it was crappy and came lose causing a leak

Please show me any PC cooling that performs 2x better for the money. Think about that statement. I would never expect twice the temp difference as from a TT to stock.

Also, you could very well be an anomoly. What accurate tests use a sample of 1? I know people that shoot H and haven't OD'd yet. That means it is a good idea?

I am not saying you shouldn't be happy with your choice, but be a bit more logical than stating that since it worked for you, it is a great choice.

TT watercooling isn't AS bad as people say, but you'd be better off getting a TRUE or Megatron for the money.

Put them in the middle of a desert in a car which's cooling system has been replaced with TT stuff.

I'm running a Tt SilentWater on my sig rig, and it's been running continuously for almost four years. During the summer I get pretty much the same temps that I would on decent(not great) air cooling, while it buys me between 5-10 degrees c in the winter. But basically I haven't had any hiccups with it, I run the cpu at 2.6 24/7 instead of 2.2 and even managed to have some fun tinkering with it when I changed out the tubbing with some spare tygon that I had. Was actually thinking about hooking it up with a Tidewater once upon a time, but the Tidewater went in the trash last move.

Next rig will have all new stuff from Danger Den.
