As I said, just have a look over at XS, there was an exploit

Plus, if CPU-Z can't validate valid OC's, why would you think it couldn't validate fake OC's?

don't put too much stock in the red X when validating using CPUZ 1.51 it happens to a LOT of valid OC's EG i can't get it to validate my 4ghz OC no matter what, and I've tried 3 different operating systems

lots of other people have had the same issue so much so that its a known bug in that build of CPUZ

Nah, I am happy with it for now. Good find.
Well after DFI lost the crown to the M4A79T, they went back to the drawing board and a new AMD UT board will be released soon. This is what got to 7GHz here.

CPU-Z has had this on going issue for the past couple of months with not validating good overclocks. I had an issue where cpu-z wouldn't validate any speed, yes even stock speeds, when I used a multiplier greater than 28. Considering who it's from, I would say this is a VERY legit overclock.

How the hell did they cool that thing for 7+ GHz? LN2? Is it still solid?

If the AMD of today can hit 7GHz, just think what the AMD of next year will do...
