Hm, I wonder how my system with a Q6600 and GTX 280 will perform at 1680x1050. The GTX 280 seemed to do fine with the i7-965, but when they ran the Very High tests using the Q8400 it kinda struggled with 24fps. I'm assuming my OC to 3.4Ghz will help some, but I'm not sure how much.

What do you guys think?

Some are reporting that an overclock yielded them a 10FPS gain. Sanders reported results that differ from the findings. Again this game is highly unoptimized and I recommend waiting for a slew of patches to address current issues with performance.

You'd be lucky to break 5 fps with settings like that in crysis.

No tests with dual-core chips? It'd be nice to see how truly multi-threaded this game is for comparison.

My rig runs ARMA 2 alot better then i thought it would maxed out but i dont like the game itself

You can get the demo from steam, yes you can play multiplayer with the demo

I just HATE the mouse smoothing/acceleration. And I have no idea how to disable it. Being a competitive CS:S player, this is just way too disorienting for me.
