Default [Expreview] Single-PCB GeForce GTX 295 Performance Analysis

Quote:
Back in January, GeForce GTX 295 graphics card helped NVIDIA to retrieve the performance crown from Radeon HD 4870X2, but the cost of dual PCB design had been hovering high. So later this year NVIDIA decided to work on a new GTX 295 reference card featuring single PCB to cut cost.

What difference would the re-designed GTX 295 make? Does it offer even better or shrinked performance? Read on to find out the answer!

Wouldn't mind one of those...

There's no difference except 2 watts less power consumed by the single pcb.

Not only that, but it won't cost less. More profit for Nvidia, I suppose.

So by making a Supposedly better product that performs ( and costs) more, they are just trying to rack up some lost profit by fooling people.

Nvidia never said that they would perform better, the only reason the went to a single pcb is to lower costs and improve efficiency.
