Yea, it was mostly a rhetorical question.

I don't put too much through into a thermal paste, once I have my stuff at a mirror-like shine, I use so little paste I figure it probably doesn't matter too much.

that could have been due to the way you applied them, since MX-2 isn't as liquidy as AS5

I find it extremely hard to believe that stock thermal compound is 6.5C worse than MX-3. 6.5C is a huge difference.

A preposterously made graph to market a new product. Surprising how many people here buy into this crap.
