I don't know if the extra copper makes a difference or not, but I sure do prefer Gigabyte boards.

meh, dont really care what marketers have to say... i'll decide for myself if a feature is useful... i'll just see what one mobo offers over another, and i for one would get an asus over a gigabyte any day, dont care who was first with the 2oz copper.

Asus has been going downhill ever since they strayed from just motherboards... Most manufacturers are hypocrites, so that part doesn't really surprise me anyway.

As true as the title may be, you are taking creative license with it which is a no-no.
Also, to think that ASUS has control over everything that Asrock does when the effectively operate separately, is a bit off. If Asrock decided to put 2 ounces of copper in their boards then I could see a direct line to hypocrisy being drawn.

I'm in the minority that likes MSI. I would rather have an MSI board, but I bought this DFI because it was on sale and in stock. It's still a really great board though. Just because someone has something doesn't mean they can't like something else.
