I built roughly 50 socket 939 systems and nearly every one of them was with an MSI Neo4-F motherboard. I didn't have a problem with any of them. I've personally used a few MSI motherboards and video cards with great results. I know a lot of people bash MSI, but what exactly happened to you personally that brought you to bash them? I wish their warranties were longer, but I have full faith in their products.

My MSI P45 Neo3-FR was buggy from the start (can't really remember all the weird little faults now, conveniently ) and eventually died... everything started up but the screen stayed black.

Got mah gigabyte and all was solved

Well on the other hand i did use an MSI G31 in a customer's build and it overclocked an e1200 (budget build lol) to 3GHz without any trouble. Although, it didn't have any voltage control at all, so i can't really say much for its extreme ocing capabilities

seems to have been holding up fine though, and it certainly owns the Intel G31 which was more expensive (used that in a build too )

Hmm.. With this card it's possible to have SLi AND a soundcard if the graphic card only uses 2 slots.

I kind of have the same feeling as you Star, but I did the report on this Motherboard because of the newness of the technology. Not much is commonly known about the i5 and this board sheads a lot of light on some things that I Did Not know about the LGA 1156.

I am not advocating the board, but the technology behind the i5.

AMDs stock rose really high recently since there price for performance is so good. Anybody who had stock with them made some moo-la

Tripple channle isn't "new technology", nor is using dual-channel a disadvantage.

Ever used a Nehalem? You know what happens to performance when you take out a stick of ram? Next to nothing.

People have complained about X58 board prices, and rightly so. Now Intel has taken steps to allow lower priced boards, with very few downsides...and of course people still *****.
