Hmm, ATI aren't very good at recommending graphics cards are they? They should just stick to making them...

I dunno why this is giving so many people a hard time here. The thing pretty much works like its supposed to... its a flash program, not magic, and cannot anticipate your secret wants and desires.

Every card has a threshold, and if your selections pass that threshold it recommends the next thing up. Clearly this isn't meant for people in the know.

I selected other games/Dvd movies/Office work/internet video and got myself a 4550. Not an outlandish recommendation by a long-shot and most certainly nothing as ridiculous as 4890 ALL THE TIME EVERYTIME!

So you can surf your internet with max graphics of course. Everyone knows websurfing needs a high powered graphics card!

Ever think maybe it's showing you the minimum recommended card. There are move "up" and "down" buttons.

Thank you, I was just gonna say, it gives you a range of cards to choose from, they just show you the most expensive one as default :P There is also the compare button to compare the ones in your list.
