Ok so maybe you don't need to pressure mod it as the default mounting system can already go really tight but I bet lapping would still help if you did it to the CPU and Heatsink. Than just ad some CL Liquid Pro + Push & Pull w/ Delta, Ultra Kaze or whatever massive CMF fan you can find and there you go. Water like temps!

yeah - heatsinks like the TRUE and megatron have a base suited to a CPU - but if you make both flat, temps will increase.

Ive read other review of this:

http://www.overclockersclub.com/revi...212_plus/4.htm
http://www.guru3d.com/article/cooler...-plus-review/7

According to these it doesn't beat the TRUE or even its brother Hyper N520, like in hardwarecanucks.com. Comes quite close though. I'd believe these reviews more, but its still a pretty good cooler for the price and out-of-the-box performance, perfect for cheapskates like me What i really like about this cooler is having retention to the upcoming i5 because i might upgrade to that later on.

I just installed this cooler and ran prime95. New idle temp is 32C and max load 54C from my old stock 37C/77C. Overall pretty happy with this cooler
