I'm sorry guys but I do fully agree with this article, and I own an iphone 2G and 3G. I was going to get the 3GS but not in this lifetime. Is apple trying to piss off its costumers, I believe so. They must have forgotten who brought them to were they are now. Now I wait for a suitable replacement hopefully by an android phone, maybe the HTC Hero, Sony Ericsson Xperia X3, ect. Who knows time will tell.

Honestly, I think this article is right on the money. Those reasons (Besides the ones about SMS and the phone plan) are why I want to get rid of my Ipod Touch.

People would have abandoned Apple a long time ago but they haven't. People are content with Apple's App Store and most people do have (that I know) AT&T service already so they might as well get the iPhone. Apple is one of the only electronics companies making a Profit in todays shambled electronics market and bad economies of the world. Apple has made it. Sure they have stumbled a bit this year, but hasn't every company stumbled and done some bad choices? You guys are sure eager to ridicule Apple but I bet 90% of you have never owned a Mac and gotten down and dirty with it's OS. It may be a bit pricey. But your paying for excellence, better service, a better OS then Windows in terms of User-Friendlyness and not akwardness.

I'm really tired of people attacking Apple and then hiding behind their shields made of Windows OS. Apple has honestly cared tghe most about it's customers then any other companies. It patrols and monitors the App Store so that bad content like Porn, Hacking, and other things that are bad don't show up there. The reason apple Locks the iphone down so 3rd party Applications can't just pop-up is to make sure they won't make the device unstable, or a bad experience in anyway. They make it like that because they don't want to have to deal with consumers making problems on the device and then Apple having to deal with people who want a new device after they broke it trying to jailbreak it or Unlock the phone.

The iPhone is a Good product. Sure, they may not let you have Porn Apps for you or let you have any application you want. But it's a good product. The carrier might not be the greatest but it's better then nothing. It's a smartphone people. Sending Data over a wireless network across the country is a very tough job, especially on infastructure. Data plans are NOT cheap. The ipHone may be more expensive in the long run, but i am pretty sure, Palm doesn't offer thesame user experience or friendlyness wit hthe product and helping you as Pam, or RIM with the Blackberry. You really need to stop bait-switching apple for making a bad choice. Sure they may have done some bad coices but didn't you when you went to that party and that guy vomited all over your laptop or new phone, or when you tried talking to that girl and you said your boobs are big instead of what you meant to say? Try not to attack a company so much. It gets tiring. I guarantee if someone tried to attack Asus or DFI, or Gigabyte about a bad product you would be on the defensive.

There are people who love Apple's Product, I there are many on this forum. The sad part is many of you have no experience with Apple's Products and will not based on the facts that you have at your disposal. Go play with a mac for a few hours. You may not be able to overclock it, but you don't have to deal with a clunky OS. The bottome line is the fact that Apple is a good company. AT&T may not be great but they do there best. Were a very small part of the computing community. Try to listen to what other people think for once. Apple is a good company. Better then Dell, HP, or most of those other companies.

I'm happy with my iPhone and AT&T.

Its not perfect but I've had much worse with different phones/carriers.
