Well,

1. I find joy in building computers.

2. I have to gain my website respect via reviewing hardware.. only way to do that now is to buy it, I don't receive chips from intel anymore (long story).

3. I have a job?

check out the TDP, afaik, the Lynfeilds basically are a new, better core. like a new revision. so, half half, rebranding-/-new chip.

plus, it is LGA-1156.. not that it matters that much.

edit;

I don't care about rebranding, I know the difference in performance, and what is better, is better. and what is similar, is similar.

EDIT:

THIS STUFF IS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7

(duh lol)

Unless having more (real or virtual) cores helps the program, it'd be the same. (Depending on how high you OC it)

Well the TDP is significantly lower on the 750, I didn't know if it would be significantly cooler because of that and have the potential to overclock significantly higher.

i noticed having hyperthreading on only helps programs that:

A. Support More than 4 cores.. (not all of them, however)

B. Can use more threads. E.g. set to use 8 threads instead of 4. Like terragen, I can set as MANY threads as i want.
