What an outrageous price for a "mainstream" processor. $250 here in Canada.
Bring on the 32nm Clarkdale unless the Lynnfield drops in price by about $80.

I can't believe I built an lga 775 build 3 weeks ago
Oh well, I couldn't have afforded an i5 build anyway, and nobody will be laughing once I get my mugen 2 and hit 4ghz.

Get it from Microcenter? Freakin' cheap there. How they pull such low prices on even brand new products is beyond me...

I can build a nice AM3 or LGA775 rig minus a PSU and video card for $500 Canadian before taxes with free shipping.
If prices don't normalize after Christmas I may just bite the bullet and go for one of those. Anything will be an improvement over what I have no since my E2180 is the major factor for lag when gaming. I figure Q1 2010 the mobo market will be saturated with more models and then the Clarkdales will come along and shake things up. DDR3 will have a chance to come down more as well.
