When prices drop, I'd love a white one since many people have black and I dont like yellow. At current prices I will pass, but I really want a ps3, would be nice to finally have a blueray player.

I still find the PS3 to be a curious console...its always cost more than the 360 yet had the same titles available to it (Except for some exclusive's like Resistance and ... Haze was it?)

In all honesty I've never owned anything from Sony that didn't eventually break within the year of me getting it (PSP and PS2 for example) however both my Xbox and Xbox360 are still kickin' without any problems.

And now they're charging $150 for a color scheme? lol

well all my Sony products are great, expect for a pair of headphone that stopped working after 1.5 years. I got my Gold PS2 in late 03, modded, and it's still running strong today. Bought the PSP when first released in the US, works perfectly

It's not an official new color from Sony so it's not Sony's fault it cost $150.

One advantage PS3 have is the blu-ray playing function, at the current price of other blu-ray players on the market, PS3 is attractive to people who want a game console and blu-ray player. And I think it can fold

Meh I still prefer my 360 ... while the BluRay is nice I don't really have any desire to spend $2000 on a flatpanel so I can watch movies at 1920x1080/24 lol

The quality isn't going to be as great as the original. They are probably going to use cheap plastic shells or paint. Not to mention the loss of your warranty.

I like the white.

But I wouldn't spend money unless they had purple.
