It seems to be a better buy for the money since it beats the GTX285 in almost every test.

Wow, the 5850 is ~1 - 3 fps away in performance from the GTX 285. In some benchmarks like the COD: WaW it surpasses the GTX 285. It's also $110 cheaper than the GTX 285 on Newegg.

Boy they need better drivers. Is not that much faster then 4890. I thought 1440SP should help it. It should be at least 50% then 4890.
