I'm pretty sure I can fart 100 nanoamps through a resistor at 900 mV, given a good generator.

Explain.

You're jumping to conclusions. Just because something is radioactive or referred to as nuclear doesn't mean it's unstable and could implode on itself at any moment or put out enough radiation to cause damage. A cell phone or even your monitor put out much more radiation than these batteries.

Don't let the term "nuclear" scare you... there's more radiation from your cell phone than these batteries. Cell phones have a peak output of 0.6w. These batteries output 16.2nW. Your phone produce 3,703,703,700% more energy. Your phone produces about 3 million times the radiation.

People hear nuclear and they overreact. Nuclear Materials are very safe when handled correctly.

If people only knew what "nuclear" really meant? Do you know what the center part of an atom or cell is called?

Not targeting anyone specifically here. Just sayin...

what happens if they do release the battery, and it leaks or something and and we end up growing more legs or whatever.

( I'm half asleep )

... Whatever happened to reading? Seriously. Do a little research/reading the thread and you'd see that the screen 2 feet in front of your face puts out more harmful radiation than these batteries.

it was a joke as I was reading it seriously.

but anyway if it does work ill be a happy man, having a laptop or an mp3 player that lasted for millions of hours would be a god sent.

now that its been made, whats holding back? price drops? I'd think they would sell something like this for about $100 dollars, even when they can make it cheaper. It will CRUSH the battery industry (duracell / energizer, etc). Hell, i'd pay $50 for a battery that pretty much didnt die for a LONG time haha.
