Cut costs

Too bad about the price :/
Given it's performance, it should be about $10 cheaper. Hopefully these are just inflated "newly released" prices.

I am interested in the GDDR3 GT220 versions.

I bought my 4670 for only 70 dollars, so i am sure i can find those new GT220 cards at the place for around 50-70 also. I will look into buying one late next month.

Being a big Nvidia fan I can honestly say that these prices are...well...HIGH!

So, are these say, equal to an 8800 in performance? Perhaps slightly slower?

No, I think these are more in the 8400/9400 fail segment..
Not good for any gaming at all IMO.

Not so good. ![]() The Asus 9600GSO with 96 stream processors is a MUCH better card for the price. Or on the ATI side, a 4670.

8400GS/9400GT haha, the any of those GT cards are more powerful then the 8400gs, the GT210 might be slightly more powerful then a 9400gt, but the GT220 is not.

So... those who own a GTS 250 and better don't get the upgraded DX 10.1, I feel jipped.
