Dubbed by some people, but most of the time I think people just say that because of the looks and because it comes with a bunch of goodies. I'd call my X58 Extreme the best X58 board, but its not necessarily true is it? I don't really like FoxConn either, especially because they overwork there workers, so what if a worker puts some kind of time bomb on your motherboard?

Its called one of the best because once blk modded(although some boards have this mod done out of the factory as standard) it is one of the few boards able to clock as well as the classy when benching. The Flaming Blade GTi is also a very very capable board for blk, very good considering its price:

http://www.benchtec.co.uk/index.php/...e-gti-preview/

Slot layout on the Bloodrage is very good, almost the same as that on the x58 sli le

I hate to be the party pooper, but Foxconn makes more of those sockets than all others combined...

I think thats the point, the clocks don't even need to be that high. Raja did say in another thread on XS that it could happen on a 24/7 oc just by running LinX/Prime

Foxconn makes a great deal of mobo components, often including the socket. While this is really probably only limited to Extreme OCers, it still sucks. Those poor tiny pins just can't take that much current through them...
