Ah, I thought you were talking about the specs from Page 1.

$3,849.00 for that one.

The base config is pretty good, though. The monitor is actually 1440p, surprisingly enough, so I suppose we can reduce the apple tax to around $550. Not sure why they opted for such a high res. Won't be able to play any games on it. Guess the 4850 is strictly for GPGPU purpose.

I'm curious as to how they'll deal with all the heat. Doesn't look like it has the space for many fans, or vents for that matter.

To all the morons (you know who you are)..

Build a computer thats an ALL in One. Whats that? Cant do it?

Or do you just not want to build one? If thats the case, shut up and stop comparing your tower to a COMPLETELY different form factor and build quality.

Oh, shut up. I broke the parts cost down to demonstrate that it's actually a pretty good deal, especially coming from Apple. That is, if you're in the market for an all-in-one, for whatever reason. Only if you deviate from base config does it starts to become horribly overpriced.

However, I fail to see how this thing will deal with all the heat being produced. I foresee many a product failure.

That all being said, I would never purchase an all-in-one. Space isn't an issue and I'm not about to pay $550 extra for something I can not upgrade.

Now I'm not a Mac fan by any means what so ever. But with that aside, I could pretend this was a product from any other company and I will still only have one word to sum up my opinions : LAME.

I'am sorry but a touchpad/mouse combo...Apple needs somebody to let them know when innovation should and shouldn't be applied.

If you cant identify what im talking about in my post, you have no right to reply to me like this.

Erm...

Did you even bother to read the article?

Let me point out if you don't want to read it - it's a multitouch mouse. You use gestures, like on an iPhone or iTouch, or pretty much any other smart phone. For example, clicking is one tap, run finger down the mouse to scroll.

For $69 it's not a bad deal technology wise, but I'm not sure it's going to work out - if it was capacitive maybe, but even then I think it will be too easy to accidentally scroll etc

As for everyone else in this thread - stop the arguing/bickering/trolling. Is it really that hard to have a decent conversation about two brands without letting it all go to your head? It's just brands, you don't actually have to support either of them...if you can't make a useful post, please just move on.
