GT300 has pretty much been a debacle for for Nvidia. Nvidia had hoped to have GT300 already launched a long time ago but they've had all kinds of problems getting it up, running, and with good yields.

Think about this, by the time Nvidia FINALLY gets this thing out ATI will be 3-4 months away from their refresh. Which will most likely beat out Fermi. Putting Nvidia in catch up mode again.

It looks like Nvidia has fallen into second place with this screwed up Fermi launch. They are going to have to work hard to get ahead again.

ATI is looking very appealing right now. You would think the maturation of the Radeon drivers would be a very time-critical task for them. I would expect them to get sorted out soon, right?

Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what is wrong with them, I here a lot of vague statements about the drivers.

Anyway, Nvidia is going to go down a slippery slope here, losing market share, I "fear" ().

Nvidia fans have no where to put their money, with even a faint rationalization of "future-proofing".

I've heard no projections for 6 series ATI cards. nVidia have always been ahead when it comes to research, hence their products always beating the ATi equivalent in performance.

It looks like Nvidia has fallen into second place with this screwed up Fermi launch. They are going to have to work hard to get ahead again. I don't consider time an issue, they will beat the ATI cards, just cost alot more.
Just my notes on that.

So what? Whats your point? Like I said if it can't run the bench marks. You have to rely on word of mouth=BS

Were is it? AFAIC the 295 is still kicking ass. It would be safe to say mark3dvantage proves it...

Also the bus width adds a bit of cost to the board, making it only 256bit compared to 512 bit is quite a lot cheaper.

The point is you are talking out your arse with regards to the 256mb bandwith.
Another point is that when there is a problem people generally do post about it. When there is nothing wrong people generally don't post to say it is working great. Sure some people have had some issues, it is normal. Should be resolved by driver updates.
If you are going to make an arguement mabye you should check your facts first, 2nd, go troll somewhere else.

Most people play games and dont care about benchmarks and the 5870 is the fastest GPU on the market period.
