that doesnt really have anything to do with his post, nor do both your posts have much to do with the breaktrough.

SSDs will go down in price when this gets to market, not any sooner.
besides that, SSD doesnt = NAND flash. You can have NAND Flash SSDs, NOR Flash SSDs, PCM SSDs, etc. as long as theres no moving parts and its a long term data storage device its an SSD.

Not quite. SSD = Solid State. PCM = Phase Change. Think about it

Good news for my IRA. Got some money in the company that invented Phase-change memory (Energy Conversion Devices - ENER)

It's like RAM and SSD combined, similar read/writes as RAM with the non-volatility of a hard drive, and similar cost as SSD.

yes it can, it would have horrible write speeds

Eventually they'll be the same thing. There will be no harddrive, windows (or whatever) will use the "data storage" as "system RAM'.

This is years and years away though. This technology probably won't be in place when that comes around, or at least this form of it.

I am sure one of these things we talk about will end up being very mainstream but most of them wont be.

Okay, I could see this replacing storage devices, but not RAM. Having non-volatile RAM would just be plain stupid. Not to mention a security risk if someone steals your computer/device.
