I don't know who this hurts more,
AMD can't make enough 5xxx series cards to benefit from the early release, But nVidia can't get enough ready for launch When TMSC figures it all out, The same shortages will disappear leaving whoever has the better product/price in the lead (so i guess nvidia wins??)

So this would coincide with the Fud report that the yields really were terrible in the beginning? Would this also explain why the 5XXX series of ATI cards are so hard to find?
