The funny thing is that even when you are gaining performance on every driver release like you say

My card still destros yours in Crysis. Even though my card seems to pretty much do all it can with Crysis and has done it for a while.

See the difference is that it doesn't take nvidia years to get the most out of your card.
Performance of gpu =/= worth of person, as you have so artfully shown.

Edit: Okay, perhaps a little harsh. You have worth (and even more potential worth), but the behavior is becoming pathological. This kind of behavior is worthless to the community. If anything, it will drive people away, but most likely, will accomplish nothing.

Basically, we need to have "Group Troll Therapy" sessions, where you talk about your feelings, and how you got picked on in elementary school, and are now emulating this same bully behavior, infinitely recreating the scenario, which was traumatic for you. It is OK to talk about it buddy.

You are letting negativity consume you, and even define you as a person. It is the classic "I can't get good attention, so I'm going to get ANY attention, good or bad". Well, now we are paying attention. Well, I am.

You are going to go far.

Because you have such a long way to go!

There's only so much they can do with drivers. Performance may increase by a little bit, but everyone's expecting way more than they should.

I disagree. The 4870's have had huge performance gains since release. Also, crossfire is improved with every release.

Seriously, new drivers don't just give you a 25% or even a 10% increase in all games. There are always performance increases for espesific games and most of the time is on new released games or simply just SLI performance increases that people with one GPU never see.

Please don't put so much hope on drivers. There are always limits to the hardware.

rubbish. in 15 months driver improvements increased the 4870x2 performance by 60%. yes, 60.

and a full 45% increase for single cards to boot.

Heey Brooze. Welcome to OCN!

I realize I haven't exactly been the best model for behavior here in this thread, but don't worry about responding to stuff like that. Since you're new, we gotta try to keep you as a good member. Click around, learn a lot, and try to help people when you can.

For the most part, I'd avoid posting in the news section as most everything turns to flame wars. I read everything but I'm working on commenting here less.

Anyways, just some helpful advice. Take it or leave it good sir!

EDIT: Well it seems you have been helping! 6 rep in no more than a month. Congtrats my friend. Keep it up.
