As for Fermi, I've said it then and I say it now. It won't be in the shelves until a few weeks into Q1 '10.
He posted it so he could try and put a negative spin on it. It would be like in the middle ages the Pope saying that the world really isn't flat, but that God wants you to believe that it is, and to think otherwise is a sin.

Charlie may be right, he may be wrong (probably the latter.)
But the biggest thing that pisses me off, and I guarantee you many others, is his slanderous writing. He can't write anything about nVidia in a non-biased way. He's the graphic market's biggest troll and his articles are, 9/10 times, pure garbage & lies that he made up himself.

BTW, hate to be that guy, but

are not news.
Yes but, Charlie's been RIGHT that last couple of times. That cannot be contested - I will not be surprised when this too becomes reality.

I know what you mean.

Just because 003 personally doesn't want others to go the semiaccurate doesn't mean he should break the rules.

Cry more please. People still reguarly post whole articles and nobody says anything about it. Except when it may go against particular fanboy ideals... now that's another story.

When it involves nVidia, about what exactly was he right about?

Well if this is all true, and the trend I have been seeing is more often than not. Nvidia have made their bed now they have to lie in it.

And the yields are so bad and TSMC are at 40% (which nvidia could of cooked this up too, to concentrate on the gt100 and not the 5800 series as they say money talks) Nvidia will have no choice but to sell their new gen cards at a huge premium.

As if Nvidia are sorry about their pricing, and I'll bet it's going happen this gen too. Just like member of government , ready to shake with one hand while wielding a knife behind his back in the other.
I mean have they fixed pricing on their current gen no, we still pay the same premium as we did before.

I just want these things out to see the competition to begin, and a little scrap of evidence like a bench to see what they are all about and to solidify my choice in ATI.

Quote preserved for the whole truth. Why Charlie's site hasn't been blacklisted yet is beyond me.

As for release dates, I still see the GTX360 and especially the GTX380 coming out between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I wish I could speculate performance... but it's a complete unknown right now.

Other people do it, so it's okay if you do it too?

Let me quote the Legal section from SA for you:

Quote:
Original material is copyrighted in the names of the authors and SemiAccurate, and may not be reprinted without written permission from the author. This includes but is not limited to posting boards, newsgroups, email newsletters, or any other form of electronic or print media. Besides, it’s so much easier to just post a link….

SemiAccurate writers, artists, consultants and editors attempt to make a living on their work. Full reproduction of an article without attribution and linking is illegal and written permission must be granted before you fully reprint, in any form, any of our content. We will allow one to two paragraphs to be reprinted without contacting us for permission as long as you provide attribution to the writer, SemiAccurate and a link to us or the article itself. We do insist that reprints prominently attribute the source and author, and feature a link back to SemiAccurate.com As we are soley ad supported traffic to our site allows us to continue paying our freelancers, writers and editors, please support them and us with this consideration.
Let me point out some things:

"may not be reprinted without written permission from the author"
"this includes...posting boards"
"We will allow one to two paragraphs to be reprinted without contacting us for permission"

What you are doing doesn't only affect you, but could affect Overclock.net as a whole, and as Admin.

It's not a principle, and you're not being "cool" trying to break the rules.
