Go Via, Go!!!!
I want more options for netbooks. I hope AMD gets on the train sooner rather than later.

AMD does not plan to build a low-power specific CPU.

Doesn't Neo count to some extent? Not -as- low power but still relatively low power.
Glad to see more coming out of Via, just wish they're systems were more popular and available.

Well, I think they mean a netbook processor (VIA Nano, Intel Atom, ARM). IIRC, AMD doesn't have any plans to get into the market.
Hopefully, it's because it sees the writing on the wall that ARM will soon dominate (ideally, of course) that market. That might just be my opinion, though.

They have Athlon Neo's in low power/low cost Netbooks. HP was the first to go for it, but MSI has a few, and so do a few other companies.

Neo = 27x27mm package, 15w TDP... what's the die size? Atom = 13x14mm package, 1-8w TDP, 26mm² Neo is for the "larger" netbooks.
