Considering the mind boggling length of the 5970, I wouldn't be surprised if the 69XX series has THREE GPU's on a single PCB. Actually... That would be kickass! From the sound of this article however, the 5950 might be on par with 2 5770's. Maybe slightly faster.

Didn't read the article, just the quote. Is it saying that the 5950 is going to be a single GPU card and the 5970 is going to be what we thought would be the 5870x2?

What they are saying is that the "5870 Six" might actually be the 5950.
I don't think that will be the case though, considering this information is coming from a site that thinks two underclocked 5870s in CF will perform the same as a 5890.

Reading the badly translated short article would help those of you assuming what it's about from the small quote.
Just saying.Truth wise, I could see it going either way: the new eyefinity 6 or just some sort of 5890? config.
