Looks like it. Improved frequency potential for all types of cooling.

For once i though wow 25k with 4870X2 and then i looked and looked and they were in CF.

Yep... Phenom II can finally be called a 4Ghz chip IMO.

The other thing which is awesome... 57C max load with a single low speed fan.

Phenom II's aren't only a great value for price/performance, they also OC beautifully on inexpensive cooling.

Yes, it still isn't a guarantee, but as close as you'll get to one.

Either way, I'd definitely wait for C3. It's the reason I haven't upgraded my 720BE that was purchased on AM3 release day... I've been waiting for the first revision.
