Looks pretty sweet! I wonder if you upped the volts a little if it would be stable at 4.2 or something.

They used a $20 cooler, Im sure 4.2 will be stable with something better since Phenoms like the cold

For a Phenom, that can be a pretty good overclock. I haven't really tinkered with mine much, but you'd be surprised at how low some of them overclock.

it would take a likely OC of 4.5GHz to sway me away from an i7 920 (next year of course) but this puts the PII back in the game for a lot of people i'm guessing

i dont see how this is an improvement for HIGHER clocks..i mean the chip itself..clocks at 3.4default..3.4-4ghz(barely) needs 1.5-1.55 and thats only a 600mhz..600mhz needing 2volts..is NOT an improvement, obviously there was no headroom improved here..that is why i find it pointless in buying higher clocked chips..because a 3ghz chip would still clock to 4ghz just about..AMD dissapoints the oc'ing community - tho thats why their cpu chips aren't priced outrageously...

This is the C3 revision. It allows for higher overclocking. The 140W 965s had a hard time reaching 4ghz. The 125W 965, as all the reviews I've read have said, does not have a problem reaching 4ghz (some reaching higher).

Seems like an improvement to me.

Overclocking headroom has very little (if at all) to do with the pricing of AMD CPUs.

When i get my new chip, I will bump down the multi to 13.5x @ 200mhz(2.666Ghz) and then I will go for 4.2Ghz.
Hows that sound for you?
