I hope this will make them go back in the competition.

Also, inb4 dummy cards, ati drivers and countless hordes of fanboys.

Go back in the competition?

Did they ever leave?

I guess Fud had it right. Nvidia came out with profit this quarter and they also said that Q4 does look promising as well thanks to ATI shortage of 5800 cards, Nvidia cards are selling alright.

It is probable that profits for Nvidia will dip pretty good for Q4, but it seems that right up tell October Nvidia was doing better then ever. It will be interesting to see their quarterly profits for the last quarter in a few months.

I read some where that these numbers include insurance reimbursements from the bumpgate payoffs.

Someone kindly explain to me how and why the OP is so obsessed with nVidia? O_o

Where did it start? Was he paid by nVidia? Raised by the company's CEO? An attempt to create a new religion based on a GPU manufacturer?

I'm going with he was create at nVidia's labs to lurk the interwebz, shoving anything dealing with their company down our throats (No offense OP).

But seriously vicious, its pretty simple at how, ATi;s 5800 series sold out so quick that people were so eager to buy they just went to Nvidia. Also OEM, Tesla, Quadro and Mobile profits. People seem to forget that Nvidia has much more than their Geforce and Gtx lines.
