Default [FUD] Both MSI's Big Bang Motherboards Are Real

Quote:
MSI's Big Bang series, Fuzion and Trinergy motherboards have drawn lot of press attention, and the fact that Fuzion got delayed was kind of disappointing, but according to our sources within MSI, both motherboards are real, and both will certainly be available. Trinergy is already listed and should be available before Christmas, while Fuzion comes in Q1 2010.

I thought I saw on MSI's site that there was only 1 Big Bang board.

I think the Trinergy board with the NF200 chip is the only board that's posted as being released but this is kind of in response the conspiracy theory that Nvidia sunk the Lucid based solution all together. The Fuzion is listed as coming soon.

How does this prove anything? It would still be advantageous for them to get it delayed until there cards come out.

(Well, even assuming that this proves that they are both real, it doesn't take the suspicions off of nVidia in my mind.)

Maybe nvidia did push the board back in time for GT300 for hopes that they can make money of the high end consumer buying 3*GT300 and then using it with a Big Bang Board to get the most out of his/her system?

Or could the motherboard have just been pushed back to generate hype to see the expect market base for MSI's investors?

Anyone else ever notice that anytime Nvidia gets some form of bad press or are accused of something (such as forcing the hydra to be delayed) Fudzilla are the first to jump up and defend them or give bad news about the competition?

Not trying to start a flame war I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this too it seems as if they are now the counter point to semi accurate (SA = ATI/AMD bias, FUD = Nvidia bias)

I would not really rely on either. I think a lot of it, whether factually true, is phrased in a way which is calculated to get people all fired up. It is news mixed with propaganda.

Coming from FUD, nobody should be surprised.
