Keep in mind that this isn't the final production/retail version that the consumers will have available to them. I am certain that this is another engineering sample/prototype being evaluated.

Even in the prototype phase it's clear they don't want to move beyond the P193 or 1200 in functionality, even in that nice P1000 prototype, of which I posted interior and exterior photos. You might not see anything wrong with this, but I do, and for a simple reason; Cooler Master and Lian-Li consistently have had more spacious, mod-friendly, and functional cases for less money. This new enclosure proves their desire to not only cement CM/LL in said positions, but, together with the 200, 300 and 600, it shows the direction in which Antec desires to move as far as functionality and value are concerned. If they don't make drastic changes to the design of the Airy LanBoy, it's only going to worsen their position.

Hi, thanks for your comments. We have just shown the preliminary version (not the final version with full features) to journalists and reviewers in the major cities around Europe. The comments of these people who have seen it in person, rather than just judging by the photos, and understand the ultimate feature set for this case have been very positive.
Of course, everyone is welcome to their opinion but we do feel that you have to see it in person to really judge a case this unique and innovative. Our plan is to have the final version ready for public showing in about 90 days and available for purchase shortly thereafter |
