Default [bit-tech] Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5750 Review

Quote:
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5750 Review

Core Clock: 700MHz
Memory Clock: 1.15GHz (4.6GHz effective)
Memory: 1GB GDDR5
Warranty: Two years

Major hardware releases can be a little befuddling for a tech journalist, as there’s a whole load of new numbers to learn. While this is very much par for the course, ATI’s new Radeon HD 5000-series of cards are a particular headache for me. There are just too many fives, sevens and eights. The last of ATI’s launches we're looking at is the low end Radeon HD 5750, a cut-down version of the HD 5770, which itself is a cut-down version of the Radeon HD 5870 and HD 5850. See what I mean?
Source

I'm starting to like this little card, may get one to play around with till the big ati guns comes out.

if ur system is fine w/ your current games; if anything go upgrade your CPU; heck, don't upgrade anything at all
a 5770 is around the performance of a 4870 ~ gtx260 sp192, so you'd need to OC this to get to that level, but you already knew that
you just wanted to post that anyway

Doh I thought it said HD5850...

I've been thinking of going crossfired 5770's or 5750's my self since the 58XX cards are non-existant. I just am really tired of a multi-GPU setup. I don't like the heat, extra cables, power usage, and dang it I want to use dual monitors again.

You can run (2) monitors with CF, but (3) monitors, such as when running eyefinity, you can NOT.
