I hope demand is fulfilled sufficiently by the time Nvidia debuts their offering, for the sake of increased competition, if AMD were stronger prices would be better for so many things. In other words I hope everyone gives money to AMD lol

I am not trying to worship AMD or anything but really if AMD were more formidable Intel would have to tighten their belts and so would Nvidia. I hope this shortage doesn't spell major long term loss of profit. (Business majors, there is a term for that right? :P)

Why do you make it sound like an issue?

People who can afford a $400 card don't care about a additional $10~$20 price hike. Just tax alone is already $40.
