You have to understand just how vast of a difference in manufacturing capacity there is between Intel and Global Foundries. And that is not based on speculation. It's just a fact.

More than likely this is just a PR statement to keep stocks up. If it actually is true, Intel will have a swift response to get back on top.

I know that if/when that happens I won't believe it.
Intel is an unstoppable juggernaut, they're the best and they know it and they're using their lead to stay on top, the only reason AMD is still alive is by Intel's mercy.
