Still cheaper than ASUS boards. I'm sure Newegg will have it around $350 at launch.

it would only be worth getting for me if it had a Hydra 200 on it. ah well, another year of waiting for better technology

Currently useless features that are probably bottlenecked by their system interface, a mediocre expansion slot layout, excessive VRM phases, and a price to match.

Anyway, the board is obviously an X58 board as you can't connect LGA-1366 to a P55. Quote:
They aren't forcing you to WC anything. The X58 (which isn't really a NB), can run quite hot. It's a big chip with an impressively poor TDP.

Then you'll always be waiting. It's proven that people who say "wait for better things to come out" are always waiting, because better stuff always comes out and you'll just end up waiting some more. Might as well wait until you win the lottery.

Those heatpipes are pretty useless if you have nothing cooling the hot end of it. So unless you have very good airflow, I feel it will only be a matter of time before you start having some problems with your northbridge and vreg. And if you're watercooling but don't want to connect the nb block to your loop, you can forget about it...that thing will boil metal. Without a cpu aircooler, where would it get it's airflow?

I like it, except for the last PCI-E slot.
