Max power draw of 294 watts?!? I was expecting higher numbers for that. Looks like a beastly (and gigantic) card nonetheless.

There seems to be lots of headroom to push 5870 clocks+, the 4870 X2 pulls ~340W under load.

4.3 billion transistors....

Its to bad AMD was forced to underclock both cores to get under the 300 watt power envelope. If that massive heatsink does its job well though then these cards should be able to get up to 900mhz or more core clock with acceptable temperatures, water coolers will still hit 1ghz.
