I hold my belief in suspense because nVidia's been bsing their way through the past couple months, ever since DX11 and 5k series cards were released. I don't recommend nVidia cards to people for one reason, and that is the cost/performance curve.

When they try to exhibit a product without providing *any* information beyond a picture that does nothing but raise suspicion, I'm not going to say 'zomg, winnartime!' I'm going to doubt it, especially when they've been floundering pathetically for an extended period of time. As Optical said, I'm not believing **** until they give me some numbers, preferably from a third party that is not affiliated with them. nVidia has yet to be forthcoming.

This be Claen'tor, signing off.

it's ALIVE!!!!!

Will the fermistein rise up to break the neck of his master or slay the red dragon that looms outside the green castle of jealousy and treachery? The hemlock awaits with its poison breath, it's minion cypress, juniper and the great redwood loom in the distance.

The proud leader open the door and shouts,
"Fermi

This is the final call for the setting song as they get closer.

And with full blown grace, thy will be done the show is over.

It's a new dawn!

You can hide your eyes, you can dim the lights, but they are watching!

This is a new time, with a different kind, they are the future

The only one!

*keeps playing the song*

Actually, nVidia hasn't said much of anything. A lot of what you're hearing is all rumors started by the new wave of ATI fankids started by the release of the 5xx0 series. It's a bandwagon. Happens every year when new graphics cards come out. People have nothing better to do but to bash, flame and doubt the company that is having problems.
but more to the point, nVidia has been keeping everything on the down low. Sure, it's no reason to praise it like it's the best thing since the nanometer, but it's certainly no reason to doubt every little bit of information that comes out either. Could this be fake? Sure could. Is it? I don't know, and neither do you. Just wait. Patience is a virtue.

nVidia's PR disaster
Looks like they liked shooting their mouths to me. And not a very 'on the down low' approach.

That, and the fake GPU scandal. Honestly though, I hope the picture is completely legitimate. Then 5870's will drop back down to the price they were at when they released, given nVidia confirms this picture with more than just posting it.
