Description:

The case is pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be. The v1000(b) is a very stylish matte black. The top and sides have a brushed metal look to them.
The bottom mounted PSU is very nice and helps immensely with wire management. Flipping the mobo puts my DS3's IDE connector directly next to my optical drives. HDD mounting is simple and quick with lian li's HDD rack method. The wheels are nice and roll easily even on carpet with the rubber ring around them.
As for cons, the top of my mobo was almost touching the horizontal divider so I had to remove my TTBT's fan to connect the 12v ATX connector. There was not enough room for my modular PSU (sunbeam NUUO)'s connectors so I had to remove one HDD rack and the vertical divider next to the PSU, but they just unscrew so that was no big deal. I would have preferred the back 120mm fan to be on the top as there is now very little clearance between my HSF and that fan (my silentx wouldn't fit and is now in front). The front fan was also kinda tight, but I moved the remaining HDD rack half a place back and was perfectly fine. Fan problems aside, moving to this case brought my case temps down from ~35C to ~32C and my CPU idle temps from ~21C to an icy 16-17C . Other than that there's no reset button, which I found odd.
All in all this is a case that I can be proud to own. The cons were minor and usually fixable whereas the pros were numerous and wonderful. The v1000 lives up to the lian-li name
