Description: The GeForce 8800 release really grabbed my attention, mainly due to its blistering performance in DX9 applications but also by being the first generation of cards to support DX10.
I was scepticle about choosing to buy the 320Mb GTS as i was concerned about the performance difference. I can now honestly say there is only a small difference until you get to higher resolutions like 1920 x 1200. If you playgames at 1680 x 1050 and below then this card gives you the best £\$ : performance ratio.
The GPU is clocked at 513 Mhz although the 96 stream processors run much faster at 1.2 Ghz. The 320Mb of GDDR3 memory run at 800Mhz (1.6Ghz Effective) and is accessed by a 320 bit memory bus.
I bought Lost planet - extreme condition and turned all the settings to highest and was blown away! The quality was superior and it ran perfectly. If you are going to buy a new high end graphics card then this has got to be it, if you can afford the GTX or the ULTRA then fair enough but i would buy two GTS 320mb and run them in SLi if thats the case.

Performance - 9/10 Value - 10/10

Pros: Superb value for money for blistering performance
Cons: Drops behind the GTS 640 at high resolutions
