Description: Core Temp is a compact, no fuss, small footprint program to monitor CPU temperature.
Now Vista ready! (x86 and x64)

The uniqueness of it is that it shows the temperature of each individual core in a each processor in your system! You can see in real time how the CPU temperature varies when you load your CPU. It's also completely motherboard independant.

Pros: Precise 65nm temps, logging feature in 99.3
Cons: Doesn't take my gf out to dinner while I stress test

I recently upgraded to the 99.3 version of Core Temp. I understand that it is the most accurate temperature monitor for 65nm intel processors, and I wanted to use it for my Q6600 GO. I enabled the logging feature and it spits out a beautiful spreadsheet while I am P95 stressing, folding, or gaming so I can see accurate temperatures.

Anyone with a Q6600 should download the 99.3 coretemp!

I have had no issues whatsoever with getting it to work with Vista x64. After installing my new processor and motherboard I reinstalled my operating system and it fixed any conflicts coretemp had (I went from AMD dual core to Intel quad and before reinstalling Vista it showed my Q6600 as an E6600).
