Pros: Solid, cheap, budget, smaller than other boards, easy overclocking
Cons: Tiny passive heatsinks on Northbridge and Southbridge, Vdroop, picky with ram

I got this because my local store wasn't selling the Gigabyte p35-DS3L and I was pretty impressed by it. The bios features are very good, but then again I'm coming from a OEM, HP board. This board is very solid, it comes with some Asus Q-Fan connectors so you can monitor and adjust fan speed using the Asus Suite. Some things that may throw off people from this board is the lack of raid and firewire. I personally do not care at all for these things and I'm sure other people looking for budget boards won't mind either. What bothers me is the tiny heatsink on the southbridge, I mean seriously its so.. small. A nice feature of this motherboard is the Esata, which I don't use but might in the future. I'm sure it can be pretty nifty. Anyways placement on this board is not so good, I had to switch to a longer cable for my optical drive. Another thing that bothers me is the massive vdroop, I have 1.3875vcore in bios, 1.328 with cpu-z and 1.28 under load. This board is VERY picky with ram, as I have heard from other p5k-se owners. A cool thing about this board is that it is slightly shorter than say, a Gigabyte DS3L by about 1.2 inches. If you plan on buying this board then CHECK THE Qualified Vendor List on Asus's website! It works perfectly fine with Crucial Ballistix 2 X 1 GB pc2 6400 I would recommend this as a solid budget board, BUT if you have the chance get the Gigabyte DS3L
