I'd get an ENGL Powerball (guitar).

For PC audio, I'm no audiophile but some HD800s would do fine with a nice amp (not too knowledgable about headphone amps).

Bose 901s are actually pretty nice for jazz I think.

I think that's why this thread isn't too active - there are too many of us who havn't heard any proper high end gear.

And I quite enjoy the Bose 301's (1980's version) we have downstairs

Werd. I mean, I already have a pretty decent loudspeaker system. It's running off of an old (all my audio stuff aside from my computer is old school) Kenwood stereo amp with Advent speakers from like the 70's. They originally had 10" drivers but I stuffed some 12 inchers in there. They only have one crappy tweeter but I'm thinking also throwing a dome tweeter in as well. I also have many pairs of loudspeaker cabnets laying around but the advents are my favorite.

Well... second favorite but my father has claimed the best set for himself. They're ADS speakers - dual 7" woofers, a dome midrange, and a dome tweeter. These things kick major ass.
