something like
AV123 Rocket RS1000 for fronts, with Dual RSC200s on top and bottom.

RS 850s for rears and surrounds

with dual Rocket UFW-10s (with the 500W amp upgrades) for bass. so all in all a tight 7.2 system

power the towers with: 3x Rotel RB-981 and a nice receiver (don't know which yet) but I think that'd be awesome
Do you only recommend AV123 gear to other people Ben? ROFL...you know there ARE other manufacturers out there.

I would just hire each band to come and perform for me, and rent some scientists to make a time machine for the oldies.

I know, and thats not a recommendation, that is a setup I could see my self owning a couple years down the road... I mean I'm not going for the $400k audio setup or anything. but I also sport recommendations of Aperion, and Axiom audio gear.

My speaker rig/s would probably be:

#1 - EMM Labs CDSD/CDSA transport + Spectral SDR2000/Modded Assemblage 2.6 or 2.7 DAC + Eddie Current Zana Deux Preamp + beefy, solid state monoblocks with over 300wpc + Magnepan 3.6r speakers.

#2 - EMM Labs CDSD or CDSA/Esoteric CD player (unsure which model) transport + Spectral SDR2000/Modded Assemblage 2.6 or 2.7 DAC + Moth Audio Si2A3H/45 (maybe do some custom stuff)/Audio Note Kageki 2A3 monoblock amplifiers + high efficiency horns or full range speakers (unsure which model).

My headphone rig would probably directly incorporated with the speaker rig, just as it is now. I would have a headphone out from either the preamp or the power amp, making the entire rig flexible for both forms of playback.

I think my rig is mid-fi right now, great sound and video as is. My next move will be to Swans F2.2F and 2.3 Center or B&W 802Ds and center. Other than that, I think I'm good. I won't upgrade my PJ for awhile, though I said that last yr and bought a new one this yr. So who knows.
