Default Good stuido like over ear headphones...

So I kinda want some nice over ear headphones for when I am working on the PC, listening to music and working in soundbooth.

I am looking at these:

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-XB500...8993820&sr=8-1

Or any that look like this. I don't want to spend that much, im thinking 50-75$.

Please post something like this in the regular audio section.

Personally, I don't like low-end Sony stuff. Look at Grado and Sennheiser, I think they have some low-prices models that will sound better.

AKG's? Kinda hard to recommend something with that little details...we need info like your music preference, sound preference, budget and what source you're using to drve them.

Well, I listen to rock, alt, and a little hip hop.

Mainly basic audio listening. And audio editing in soundbooth.

For sound editing and creation work, you would need studio monitors, which have a dead flat frequency response as you don't want the headphones to change the sound due to it's frequency response.

Only one I can think of in your budget:

Sony MDR-V6

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-V6-Mo.../dp/B00001WRSJ

Very popular for sound editing all around the world, big studios and home ones.
