Default Considering an upgrade: HD555 to AH-D2000

What do you guys think?

i can get the d2000 for relatively cheap (under $300CND; retail is mid $400cnd)

Do you think this justifies the price? My source and amp are decent enough to run the D2000. I feel my HD555 (which i had for so long) is hindering me from my musical pleasure.

Music i listen to...literally everything but more specifically prog metal/death metal.

Thoughts. thanks!

Yes. A great upgrade for that kind of music.
